LaboVet - About us

In March 2000, Dr. Louis Fischer founded the single enterprise "LaboVet - Laboratory Dr. Louis Fischer for Veterinary Diagnostics and Hygiene". In October 2003, with new business partners, Labovet was turned into "Labovet GmbH - Laboratory for Veterinary Diagnostics and Hygiene". Since its foundation, the company has quickly developed into a competent partner for veterinarians, public administrative bodies as well as for research institutions thanks to its qualified staff.
Labovet GmbH employs at present 8 coworkers.

Labovet GmbH offers comprehensive services in the following fields:

Routine diagnostics in veterinary medicine and animal feed hygiene

Bacteriology, immunology, serology, mycology, molecular biology and animal feed examinations.

Herd investigations

Herd investigations are offered to agricultural enterprises, breeders' associations and animal health services for their surveillance programmes as well as for export.

Research and Development

Development of new diagnostic procedures focussing on biotechnology, molecular biology and immunology.

Feed examinations

Bacteriological and mycological investigations are offered to feeding stuff manufacturers.
